At the same time, Thai was training in Muay Thai (kickboxing), and after a couple of amateur fights in Australia, he had the opportunity to move to Thailand with one of Australia’s best fighters and pursue a professional career. As soon as he finished high-school, Thai spent a year travelling and playing Rugby for Nova Scotia, Canada, and also working in a bakery in San Francisco.
